      their dry cure bacon is superb and the only dry cure we've really enjoyed.

Beef:

Chocolates:
    Carlo Melchior at South Molton, the very finest hand made chocolates

Clotted cream, thick double cream and butter:

      really fine, delicious and clean tasting.

Cheese:
    Duckett's Caerphilly, the well rinded slightly sagging version matured for a few
      months, made by Jemima Cordle at Westcombe near Shepton Mallet.
    Double Gloucester from Smarts, Oldley Court, Chapel Lane, Birdwood, Churcham,
      Glos GL2 8AR (01452 750 225), hand-made, intense flavour, sensational!

      and also teaches cake decoration.

Patisserie Express:

Eggs:

Lamb:
    www.thoroughlywildmeat.co.uk near Wincanton, sell 'salt marsh lamb' with
      exceptional flavour from having fed on the salt marshes of the
      Bridgwater Bay nature reserve owned by English Nature.

Olive oil:

      the Campillo from Ronda.

Peppers and chillies:

      delicious, I particularly like the large purple/yellow sweet peppers and the
      mildly hot green Poblanos.
